Training in fire related subjects is offered at our purpose built Training Centre at Birkenshaw. Situated only one mile from junction 26 on the M62 and in the heart of the industrial north the centre provides training for industrial and Local Authority personnel.

The Training Centre has achieved accredited firm status to BS EN ISP 9001. All instructors are qualified as D32 Skills Assessors with Course Directors and Management Trainers achieving D33 and D34 accreditation issued by the Training and Developments Lead Body to level three NVQ.

The Centre provides residential accomodation for up to fifty students in a dormitory and single study bedrooms. The purpose built Multi-purpose Training Centre (MPTC) is designed to provide hot fire training in a realistic but safe enviroment.

Conference facilities include a one hundred seater lecture theatre with full video and computer projection to a large screen. Seperate Classrooms, Reception, bar and function rooms offering First Class catering and hospitality to suit clients individual needs. Car parking and access from main roads and major rail stations could not be easier.
