Siemens Fire Safety...driving down false alarms
False alarms are continuing to reach huge proportions and vastly outnumber
real fires in the United Kingdom. The control of false alarms and
the detection of real fires require a combination of measures. Siemens
Building Technologies, Fire Safety, in conjunction with the Fire Service
College, Moreton in Marsh, offers you the opportunity to see for yourself
the impact of certain phenomena on detector types.
These seminars - open to anyone - and completely FREE
OF CHARGE and are run in a purpose built laboratory where
detection principles are demonstrated in real time and, more importantly,
which principle works best for particular risks.
Importantly, attendance at these seminars will qualify for CPD
and are recognised by the institute of Fire Engineers and Institute
of Electrical Engineers. If you, or your company, have a specific
requirement, courses can be tailored accordingly.
Typically these seminars are attended by Siemens' own personnel,
their customers, fire personnel, consultants, contractors and end
users, as well as overseas visitors and the media.
