Senior Fire Engineer/Associate Fire Engineering Professional

We are WSP, and we are seeking a dynamic Senior Fire Engineer or Associate Fire Engineering Professional with a sound knowledge and background form within the healthcare sector, to lead our healthcare fire engineering delivery in the UK.

WSP are a global design, engineering and management consultancy recognised the world over for our expertise in the built and natural environment. We are a vibrant community of specialists in many fields. Our fire engineers have different approaches and backgrounds, but they are united by a passion for innovation and technical excellence.

We are experts in understanding how fire can affect people and our built environment. Fire Engineering forms a distinct design discipline in its own right within the structure of WSP and we use our specialist knowledge to develop innovative and project specific solutions to aid out clients in achieving their aspirations.

Our fire team spans nearly 130 specialists, spread across our global offices from whom we are able to draw unrivaled expertise and experience. As a self-motivated individual working without direct supervision, you will be required to apply fire engineering techniques and solutions to new build and refurbishment projects within the healthcare sector.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Fire Engineering, Building Science or equivalent.
  • Working towards Chartered Engineer Status
  • Experience of working within a fire safety engineering team

In the UK our fire engineering teams are based in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow and Cambridge.
