A fire which caused an estimated £100,000 of damage to a car transporter in Aberdeen is being treated as suspicious.

The fire was reported in Canal Road, where the transporter was parked, in the early hours of Thursday.

The car transporter as well as the vehicles it was carrying were damaged.

Police Scotland, appealing for witnesses, said it was understood the damage caused would be around a low six-figure sum of money.
