Sons on finding the bodies of Pam and Les Cox

  • 5-31-2012

The sons of a couple who died from carbon monoxide poisoning at their home in Essex have described discovering their bodies.

Pam and Les Cox were discovered sitting arm in arm on a sofa at their home in Wickford in November 2011.

An inquest heard how the couple died from carbon monoxide poisoning due to a blocked coal fire flue.

They had earlier been sent home by Basildon Hospital after complaining of feeling dizzy and nauseous.

Ian and Neil Cox now want hospitals to test patients for carbon monoxide poisoning.
