- 2-4-2012
A man who allegedly set fire to his Newtownabbey home has appeared in court charged with arson.
Ian Charles Edgar, 58, from Sandyknowes Park, was charged with setting fire to the home he shares with his wife either through intention or recklessness.
His wife became trapped upstairs after going back in to get her dog. She had to be rescued by the Fire Service.
