Man rescued from mud after bridge fall in North Devon

A 25-year-old man has been rescued after falling about 30 feet (9 metres) off a bridge in North Devon.
Thomas Hickford was rescued from mud beneath Long Bridge in Barnstaple, police said.
Two fire crews, the specialist rescue team from Barnstaple and one engine from Braunton were sent to the incident at about 03:15 BST on Sunday.
Fire crews used dry suits and a specialist stretcher to rescue him from the mud.
