People evacuated as crews tackle Milford Haven fire

Eight people have been evacuated after a fire at a bookmakers and a flat in Milford Haven.

About 30 firefighters were called to the Ladbrokes shop in Charles Street shortly before 1800 BST.

The fire was brought under control after eight people from neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precaution.

There were no injuries, but firefighters rescued a pet hamster from the flat.

Four fire engines were called to the incident.
