Melton car arson attack leads to appeal

A car has been damaged in a suspected arson attack in Leicestershire.

The incident happened late on 27 December on Drummond Walk, Melton, when the owner found his Ford Focus CMax on fire.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward and said the area was busy with partygoers who may have seen something.

No one was injured in the incident but the vehicle and surrounding road surface were badly damaged.
