Crews tackle fire at Minster Lovell workshop

  • 10-24-2010

More than 20 firefighters have tackled a fire at a workshop in a village in Oxfordshire.

They were called to the back of a house on the Brize Norton Road in Minster Lovell on Saturday night. The workshop was well alight when they arrived.

Nobody was hurt and crews stopped the fire from spreading to surrounding buildings.

The fire service said the cause was a wood burner left unattended, which set fire to materials in the workshop.
