Children charged over Aberdeen school fire

Four children aged between eight and 13 have been charged in connection with a fire at an Aberdeen school.

The blaze destroyed a wooden fence and play equipment at Quarryhill Primary School on Tuesday.

The school's playground had only recently re-opened after it was demolished by vandals with a chainsaw last year.

Grampian Police thanked members of the public who came forward with information after the latest incident.
