House fire in Nottingham is confirmed as arson

A fire which damaged a Nottingham home is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.
Emergency crews were called to Kirkdale Close in Wollaton late on Monday and found a bin had been set alight and flames had spread to the nearby house.
The female occupant of the property escaped and there are no reports of any injuries.
Officers have appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area during the evening to get in touch.
