Breaker's yard fire in Bean closes A2 to traffic

A main road has been closed in both directions in Kent following a fire at a breaker's yard.
Fire crews were called to Watling Street, Bean, at 1030 BST after two lorries, four cars and part of a workshop caught alight.
Police shut off the A2 between Bean and Ebbsfleet amid fears of an acetylene cylinder exploding. An exclusion zone has been put in place as a precaution.
No-one is believed to have been injured in the fire.
