Arson probe over Bath supermarket fire

  • 7-12-2010

A fire which badly damaged a supermarket in Bath may have been started deliberately, police say.

Fire crews were called to the Co-op in Avon Street at about 2300 BST on Sunday.

They extinguished the blaze but the building and much of its stock was charred by the flames.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of arson but later released on bail.
