Kent park theatre marquee hit by arson

A fire which damaged part of a theatre marquee in Kent was started deliberately, police said.

Arsonist set light to the structure at The Theatre in The Park, Strode Park, Herne Bay, overnight on Tuesday.

Kent Police said the fire caused damage valued at about £200 to the theatre marquee, and a fence and chair were also damaged.

The force has appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact officers.
