Llandudno residents escape fire through window

  • 7-9-2010

Eleven people, including children, had to climb out of a kitchen window after an early morning fire broke out in an outbuilding next to a block of flats.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was injured in the fire at Parc Bodnant, Llandudno, Conwy county, which was reported at 0116 BST.

Seven flats were evacuated and some families have been re-housed by the council due to smoke and water damage in their properties.

The outbuilding was destroyed.
