Premier Inn damaged by fire in Northamptonshire

  • 7-6-2010

A Premier Inn hotel has been badly damaged by fire in Northamptonshire.

Firefighters have been battling to bring the fire in the two-storey building at Brackley Hatch under control after it broke out just before 2140 BST on Monday.

Northamptonshire Fire Service said guests were evacuated from the hotel after smoke was seen coming from the building.

Crews from Buckinghamshire are helping in the effort to control the fire.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Fire Service said the entire building was on fire.

She said the guests at the hotel, located between Brackley and Silverstone, had been moved to another Premier Inn at Harpole.
