Man arrested over block of flats fire in Brighton

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a three-storey block of flats in Brighton.
Twelve people had to be moved out of their homes after crews from East Sussex fire and rescue were called to Donald Hall Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Three people were taken to hospital suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation.
Other residents were sent to a temporary shelter while fire crews dealt with the blaze.
Police closed the road at the junction with Whitehawk Hill Road until it was extinguished.
The fire broke out on the first floor at about 1740 BST, and police are keen to speak to anyone who was at the flats in the hour before it started who may have information helpful to their inquiries.
