Firefighters tackle three-storey house in north Devon

  • 6-11-2010

Fire crews have been called out to a fire at a three-storey house in Devon.

The fire service said it received numerous calls about the fire in Sticklepath Terrace, Barnstaple, after it broke out at about 1120 BST.

Two appliances and an aerial ladder platform from Barnstaple station, plus an appliance from Braunton were sent.

On arrival, the crews reported that there was a possibility that there was a person still in the building but all persons were later accounted for.

The fire is believed to have broken out on the first floor.
