Ten fire crews were called to deal with the incident A 27-year-old woman has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at the Matalan store in Grimsby, Humberside Police have said.
The store on the Alexander Retail Park was badly damaged in the blaze which broke out at 1600 BST on Sunday.
Staff who were working inside the branch at the time of the fire escaped without injury.
The woman has been remanded in custody and will appear in court in Grimsby on Wednesday, police said.
