Firefighters from across the country have received national awards in a lavish ceremony at Wembley Stadium.
The Spirit of Fire Awards saw members of the service and the public honoured.
Rebecca Williamson, from Edinburgh, collected a bravery award on behalf of her brother Ewan Williamson, who died tackling a blaze in the city last July.
Entertainer Bruce Forsyth, politician Ken Livingstone, broadcaster Esther Rantzen and Falklands War veteran Simon Weston were at the event.
