Firefighters at scene of blaze A Polish grocery shop on Beersbridge Road was damaged in a fire

Firefighters have been dealing with separate blazes in east Belfast.

An overnight fire in the Belmont Road area damaged a number of business properties.

Police believe the fire was started in waste bins at an alleyway off Ferguson Drive at the rear of the buildings shortly before 0400 BST on Sunday.

Fire crews also tackled a blaze at a Polish grocery shop on Beersbridge Road.
