Fire crews put out blaze at Whiteabbey shops

Four fire crews have put out a blaze at shops at Whiteabbey, County Antrim.

A Julie's Kitchen fast-food outlet, Spar supermarket and a Ladbrookes bookmakers at Shore Road, Whiteabbey were described as being "well alight".

Firefighters used a hoist to send water down onto the building. Part of the roof has collapsed.

The fire, which started on Saturday afternoon, is not thought to have been deliberate.
