Man found on fire in Birmingham street dies in hospital
- 5-21-2010
|
A man found on fire in a Birmingham street has died in hospital. He was being treated at Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham after being found in Gooch Street, Highgate, at 0605 BST. West Midlands Police said initial investigations indicated the incident was an accident and they were not looking for anyone else. A man had been shot in the chest in the same street on Wednesday but police have ruled out any link. Det Insp Tom Chisholm said: "At this time we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this tragedy, which will be the subject of a coroner's inquiry in due course." |
