Membership of the Forum is open to professionals engaged in the investigation of arson fires including forensic scientists, insurance investigators, fire and security managers in industry, members of legal firms engaged in arson investigation, and those in the fire service and police having such responsibilities.

The Forums objectives are:

• To provide facilities for exchange of information and experience among the members in regard to the practice, procedures and techniques of arson investigation;

• To provide an educational programme which would further the knowledge and standing of members.

Specific activities envisaged for the Forum include the following:
