Woman treated after kitchen fire
A woman was taken to hospital after a kitchen fire at a flat in Lancashire.
Fire crews were called to the second-floor flat at Lindbeck Road in the Mereside area of Blackpool in the early hours.
A woman suffered the effects of smoke inhalation in the blaze, which started in the kitchen area.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire damaged the cooker and caused smoke damage to five other rooms in the property.
