Homes severely damaged by blaze
Two homes in a Surrey village have been severely damaged by a fire.
Firefighters said almost half the roof covering the semi-detached houses
in Carfax Avenue, Tongham, near Farnham, was destroyed in the blaze on
Tuesday.
Six crews spent more than an hour tackling the fire, which also caused
major smoke damage to the first floor and slight damage to the ground
floor.
A spokeswoman for Surrey Fire and Rescue said no-one was injured and
all the occupants had been accounted for.
