Fire victim found in front room
A man has died in a fire at a house on the outskirts of Sheffield.
The man, who was in his 60s, was discovered in the front room of the house in Tofts Lane in the Rivelin Valley on Monday evening.
He had suffered severe injuries but police said they were not treating the fire as suspicious.
A fire service spokesman said they were alerted after a concerned neighbour broke into the house and found the man's body. The fire was already out.
