Crews tackle packaging firm fire
Part of a Derbyshire town was cordoned off by police after fire broke
out at a packaging firm.
Crews tackled the blaze in a large charcoal tank at AmCor Flexibles at
Ilkeston on Monday evening.
The 15m-by-10m charcoal unit was destroyed in the fire at Crompton Road
but no-one was injured.
About 25 firefighters were called to the blaze, which burned for several
hours. An investigation into the cause gets underway on Tuesday.
