Blaze damages builder's premises
Several storage and warehouse buildings were destroyed in a fire which
broke out on Saturday evening at the Southall premises of a builders'
merchants.
London Fire Brigade said around 50 firefighters with 10 appliances were
called to tackle the blaze on Western Road at Southall.
They spent around four hours dealing with the fire, which caused extensive
damage to the premises.
A Fire Brigade spokesperson said the cause was being investigated.
