Woman killed in blaze at bungalow
A woman has died in a fire at her bungalow home in east London.
The woman, aged 71, was discovered by firefighters in a rear bedroom at the Chingford house on Saturday evening, and was declared dead at the scene.
Half of the property in Valance Avenue was damaged in the blaze, which took nearly two hours to bring under control.
The cause of the fire is being looked at by police and fire investigation officers.
