Man rescued from drainage ditch
A man who was thought to be drowning has been rescued from a drainage
dyke in west Norfolk.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire engines and the rescue
boat to the scene near King's Lynn on Sunday.
Paramedics treated the man, aged about 60, near the dyke on Loke Road,
North Lynn, but did not take him to hospital.
Norfolk Police said the man, suspected of being drunk, had been arrested
and taken to King's Lynn police station.
