Man found dead after house fire

A man has died in a house fire in Glenrothes, Fife Constabulary has said.

The force said its officers were called to the home in Claymore Drive at about 1355 GMT on Saturday.

They found the body of the man, who is said to be aged in his 40s, inside. It is understood he lived alone. No-one else was hurt in blaze.

A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances in the incident. The dead man will not be named until relatives are informed.
