Fireworks found in car wash fire

Police in Greater Manchester are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire at a car wash where fireworks were being stored.

Fire crews were called to the Big Yellow Car Wash in Sion Street in Radcliffe in the early hours.

The road has been closed after about 1,000kg of fireworks were discovered stored in the building.

Police believe the fire was started deliberately and want any witnesses to come forward.

No buildings were evacuated.
