Elderly woman dies in house fire
An elderly woman has died after being pulled from a house fire in Manchester.
The blaze broke out in the kitchen of the end terraced house on Fell Park Road in Northern Moor, Wythenshawe, on Tuesday night.
The woman was rescued from the house by firefighters and given oxygen at the scene. She was taken to hospital where she later died.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service are investigating the cause of the fire.
