Arrests made over care home fire

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a care home in Norfolk.

Thirty-three residents, including a 102-year-old, had to be rehoused after a fire broke out at the Old Rectory Residential Home, Norwich Road, Acle.

Two 18-year-old men, from the Acle area, were arrested and have been questioned by police.

Fire service and police teams are working to determine the cause of the fire which broke out on Saturday night.

The fire was contained to a small area but smoke caused damage to other parts of the home.

Six residents were taken to hospital after breathing in smoke.
