Crews called to blaze at factory

Firefighters have brought a blaze at a factory near the border of Cambridgeshire and Essex under control.

Seven crews tackled the fire which broke out on Saturday night at door and window seal firm Sealmaster in Brewery Road, Pampisford.

Cambridgeshire fire service said the fire lasted for about 12 hours and people living in the village were told to keep their windows closed.

The fire was brought under control by Sunday afternoon.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is likely to resume on Monday.
