Men 'set fire' to robbery vehicle
Police want to trace two men who were seen setting fire to a car after
an armed robbery.
The men set fire to the silver and grey Subaru Forester in Castle Foregate,
Shrewsbury on Saturday after a robbery in North Wales on Friday.
They then fled the scene into traffic and at least one of the men is
believed to have caused a car to brake sharply to avoid a collision.
The vehicle has been recovered and is undergoing forensic tests.
Any witnesses, particularly the driver of the car that had to suddenly
stop, are asked to contact police.
The vehicle was stolen on Friday evening but the fire failed to take
hold and was quickly dealt with by firefighters, West Mercia Police said.
CCTV from the town is also being examined by officers.
