Charges in 'firework' house fire

Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a house fire which firefighters believe may have been started by a firework.

Jamie Matthews, aged 18, and a 17-year-old boy were charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

The fire occurred on the ground floor of a home on Ramsay Road, Headington on 31 October as a family of four slept.

The two accused were remanded in police custody until they appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court.
