Island industrial fire suspicious

Fire investigators suspect a fire that destroyed part of an industrial unit was started deliberately.

Six pumps and breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the blaze on Marsh Close, Sandown, on the Isle of Wight, in the early hours of the morning.

The blaze was started in a skip and then spread to a lorry and a single storey industrial unit.

A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said there was "extreme damage" to the building.

Police are also investigating the incident.
