New classrooms for blaze school

Temporary classrooms, a sports hall and a drama centre are to be opened in the next few weeks to replace buildings destroyed in a fire at a school.

About 40% of the Sidney Stringer School, in Hillfields, Coventry, was damaged in the blaze on 25 September.

The temporary buildings will be used until a new school is built in the next two years.

Pupils have returned to lessons by borrowing classrooms and buildings in other parts of the city.
