Farm fire 'seen for miles around'

Fire fighters were called to tackle a major fire at a farm near Lundin Links in Fife.

The blaze was understood to have broken out in a straw shed at the Nether Pratis farm before spreading to a fertilizer store and diesel tank.

A spokesman for Fife Fire and Rescue Service said six appliances and two support vehicles had been sent to the scene of the blaze.

The flames and smoke could be seen from several miles away, eyewitnesses said.
