Arrests after pellet gun report

Three youths have been arrested on suspicion of firing plastic pellets at cars in Shropshire.

The teenagers, aged 17, 18 and 19, were questioned after police attended Abbey Foregate, in Shrewsbury, at about 0015 GMT on Thursday.

Officers had been told pellets were being fired from the window of an upstairs flat towards the Old Bell pub and at passing vehicles.

Two of the youths have been released on bail and an air pistol was recovered.
