Workers try to free two trapped

Emergency workers battled to rescue two people were trapped after a car overturned in Abercynon, south Wales.

Firefighters were still trying to cut them free on Sunday evening.

In mid Wales, three people were taken to hospital following an accident between a car and a motorcycle on the A470 at Argoed Mill between Newbridge on Wye and Rhyader.

One of the casualties was taken by air ambulance the others by road ambulance. Their injuries were not known.
